Rocha Dance Theater’s Fundraiser Preview Performance

Please join artistic director Jenny Rocha and the company for an intimate preview performance of Battledress. The pay-what-you-can donation at the door will go towards a New York City season and premiere of the work. RSVP to to reserve your seat.

Rocha Dance Theater is a Brooklyn based dance company that has been performing and creating work in New York City for over 13 years, continuously connecting to audiences using a unique, bold language of dance theater. The company aims to perform thought-provoking work that not only brings communities of people together to experience live performance but to also share relatable thoughts, emotions, perceptions and energy in a poetic way.  Rocha focuses on versatility, using a wide spectrum of dance genres such as modern, jazz, ballet, and hip hop. The company has been critically acclaimed in the New York Times, the Boston Globe, the Providence Journal,, and more.

Guests are welcome to use cash or check at the door. If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation, please make a check out to Fractured Atlas and write Jenny Rocha in the memo line.

This work was made possible in part by The CUNY Dance Initiative 2015 at Lehman College, Armitage Gone! Dance Space Residency and Mana Contemporary.
