ICYMI: For 8 months, @manabsmt resident Michael Clemow (@mikeclemow) cultivated tobacco plants in his studio––a gesture in recognition of our building's former life as a cigarette factory. On Saturday he debuted his project, Tabaci Memoriae, with a research symposium featuring panelists Jonathan Durham (@durhamjonathan), Z Behl (@zbehl), Amelia Winger-Bearskin (@studioamelia), & Suzanne Anker. 🌿
Come see the installation––on view for the next 2 weeks in Mana's front lobby––which includes his greenhouse, germination station, tobacco plants, & historical ephemera. 🌿
