Mana Talks:
Paddy Johnson

Editor and curator Paddy Johnson will lead a discussion of Art F City's 11 year history, which began as
a New York based single-authored blog in 2005 and is now a non-profit organization that produces criticism, exhibitions, and educational programming. This talk will focus on the artistic projects the organization has launched throughout its years of operation.

Paddy Johnson is the founding Editor of Art F City and maintains a column on digital art for Artnet.
In addition to her work on the blog, she has been published in magazines such as New York magazine, The New York Times and The Economist. In 2008, she became the first blogger to earn a Creative Capital Arts Writers grant from the Creative Capital Foundation. Paddy was nominated for Best Art Critic at The Rob Pruitt Art Awards in 2010 and 2013. Paddy also maintains an active presence as a curator.

This event is presented as part of Mana Talks, a free series of public workshops, lectures, and conversations hosted by artists across creative fields. For Winter/Spring 2016, the theme is “The Muse,” inviting artists to discuss their sources of inspiration.
