Thinking Collections: Telling Tales:
Curatorial Walkthrough and Open Forum

Join curators Leeza Ahmady and Vlad Sludisky for a walkthrough of ACAW 2018’s survey exhibition Focus Kazakhstan—Thinking Collections: Telling Tales, which focuses on Kyzyl Tractor, a celebrated experimental art collective known for their feverish experimental performances of the 1990s and early 2000s.

The walkthrough is followed by an open forum with a diverse group of esteemed art-world professionals, who will discuss the exhibition’s timeliness and significance in relation to broader discourses taking place in Asia and around the world.
