Dedicated to presenting comprehensive exhibitions and projects of
world-renowned international artists
Ayn Foundation was established in 1993 with the founding of the Arnulf Rainer Museum, a two-year project in Chelsea bringing together over 150 of the artist’s works. Committed to comprehensive, large-scale projects by major international artists for presentation to the public, Ayn Foundation’s current projects include Andy Warhol's The Last Supper and Maria Zerres’s September Eleven located in the west Texas town of Marfa; an installation of work by Dan Flavin at Fisherbau in Polling, Germany; and an exhibition of paintings by Arnulf Rainer at Mana Contemporary.
Ayn has previously presented projects by Joa Baldinger, John Chamberlain, Dan Flavin, Arnulf Rainer, Andy Warhol and Maria Zerres, with the help of such important museums and foundations as The Brant Foundation of Greenwich, Connecticut, The Dia Art Foundation, the Guggenheim Museum, the Menil Collection in Houston, and the Staatsgalerie Moderner Kunst in Munich.
The Ayn Foundation opened a space at Mana Contemporary in October 2015 with an exhibition of the works of Austrian artist Arnulf Rainer. Ayn will continue to produce long-term solo exhibitions in Mana’s Gallery 888.
