Behrang Behin

Behrang Behin is trained as an architect and works with the built environment. His projects include speculative explorations of the role of technology in urbanism, temporary installations in the public realm, and architectural interventions ranging from residential to institutional. He was born in Tehran, Iran, and holds an M.Arch. from Harvard, an MS from U.C. Berkeley, and a BS from Yale. He was an Agha Khan Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and is the recipient of the James Templeton Kelley Prize, the AIA Henry Adams Medal, and the Peter Rice Prize. Behin lives in Jersey City, where he sits on the development and construction committee of the Van Vorst Park Neighborhood Association and practices architecture in the greater New York area.
