Devon Farber

Devon Farber is a painter born in New York into a family of artists. Throughout his work is a recurring theme of the "self" fading away and returning to a blissful state of interconnection. Farber incorporates temporary materials into his paintings, such as charcoal or stories from Instagram, to highlight the transient nature of life, mortality, and impermanence. Much of his work focuses on stripping away the ego and blurring lines of personal separation, emphasizing spiritual evolution and a return to the infinite. Farber lives and works in New York. He attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. His work has been shown internationally and in the U.S.
