Mana Contemporary is thrilled to present five new exhibitions for Fall, opening on Sunday, September 25 with a public Open House, featuring open artist studios, including our new BSMT program. Transport will be provided from Milk Studios.

In our first floor gallery, a collection of original silkscreens from the legendary artist, showcasing his expert use of color, graphic expertise, and advanced printing techniques.

On the second floor, full of energy and color, a collection of panoramic photographs from the renowned artist, taken with his Widelux camera.

On our third floor, in the Middle East Center for the Arts (MECA), an exhibition presented by the Umm El-Fahem Art Gallery in Israel. Curated by Irena Gordon, the works on display reveal the multifaceted ways in which textiles can serve as a medium.

Amy Khoshbin: The Myth of Layla

International Center of Photography (ICP) at Mana presents an exhibition which explores the complex relationship between candidates’ representations in visual media and their carefully created and tightly controlled campaign images.

Cey Adams: Pulling Through, Reflections of America

A series of American flags from the renowned artist, exemplifying his pioneering techniques of collage and silkscreening.

The Oral History of Female Drummers: Getting Louder
September 25, 2016 only

An immersive sound installation presented by Mindy Abovitz and Tom Tom Magazine, designed to explore the undocumented history of female drummers.

Shuttle service:

A complimentary shuttle service will depart every half hour from Milk Studios (450 West 15th Street, New York, NY 10011) starting at 12:30PM, with the last bus leaving Milk at 4PM. Returning buses are every half hour from Mana from 2PM to 7PM.

Please note: From August 6 - December 19, 2016 the 33rd Street PATH train will be closed on weekends. The WTC line will continue unchanged. For alternative travel routes, which include shuttle buses and special weekend trains, visit the official PATH site.
