Hideki Takahashi

Artist Hideki Takahashi draws from his past experience in architecture to develop large-scale installations and paintings. A native of Tokyo, Japan, Takahashi was inspired by the city’s vibrant fashion scene and ultimately decided to use denim as the central medium in his work. Using 180-foot-long rolls of vintage Japanese denim, Takahashi graces his canvas with freehand strokes to create remarkable illustrations that pay homage to the spirited style culture that first inspired him.
