Household Products is a group exhibition curated by Emily Drew Miller and Rachel June Park.
I want my name to be a household product.
The kitchen first, because that’s where the food is. Give me something colorful—my body needs it for digestion.
The living room. See your friends, climb the ladder, unscrew the light hook, balk at and choke on your customs.
The bedroom. Recharge! Admire collectibles and cancerous oil dreams. Smoothies, movies, and ambiguous animals.
The attic, the colonized space of space and memories. Don’t think too long or you’ll be sold along with everything else.
Bodies, dust, familial units and fights, midnight raids, and drunken apathy tin the face of tradition make a house a home. I WILL SELL THIS HOUSE TODAY!
Zoe Ambinder, Steven Kosovac, Emily Drew Miller, Rachel June Park, Tuesday Lisa Park, Miles Peyton, Maddy Varner, Carolina Vogt, Geep Warhaftig, and Alan Gorelick.
