Jennifer Krause Chapeau

After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Michigan School of Art, artist Jennifer Krause Chapeau moved to New York City. She studied at the Studio and Forum of Stage Design and was later admitted to The United Scenic Artists Union, Local USA 829, where she worked as a scenic artist on major motion pictures and television programs. Her paintings explore movement, speed, and memory, and gain inspiration from color, light, and space. Her work has been exhibited at the Newark Museum and the Baltimore Museum of Art, and is part of private collections around the world.
