International Sculpture Day at Mana

In celebration of International Sculpture Day on Sunday, April 24, 2016, Mana will open a new group exhibition of sculpture in the 5th floor gallery, Wake the Town and Tell the People. Working across a dynamic range of materials, from porcelain to plywood and bronze to balloons, the artists call on us to reexamine the pressures of our time. This free event, presented in collaboration with the International Sculpture Center, will also include The T’ang Horse: Anthony Quinn, which highlights a number of sculptures by Anthony Quinn, Ben Keating’s solo exhibition of sculpture The Piece of Her that’s Missing, and open artist studios.

Special programming:
— 2PM: Tour and aluminum chasing and MIG welding demonstration at the Keating Foundry, exterior campus
— 3PM: As part of Wake the Town and Tell the People, Jamezie will perform a participatory work, …But Will The People Listen?, from 3PM to 5PM, 5th floor gallery
