Mana Glass Gallery
With interiors designed by architect Richard Meier, Mana’s premier exhibition space is a majestic, hangar-like gallery drenched in natural light
Opened in May 2014, the Mana Glass Gallery is a 50,000-square-foot exhibition space marked by towering ceilings and clerestory windows. It is one of the largest exhibition spaces in the United States. Monumental works and installations, often unable to be displayed in traditional museum settings, fit effortlessly into the space’s mammoth interior. It has presented large-scale exhibitions including Making Art Dance: Backdrops and Costumes from the Armitage Foundation, and the group show All the Best Artists Are My Friends: Part 1. As a result, the Mana Glass Gallery, the organization’s first commercial gallery space, revolutionizes how the contemporary art world interacts and engages with visitors.
